Van Homsi is seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor with a strong background in CGI to join our creative team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for crafting visually stunning and engaging video content that combines live-action footage with cutting-edge computer-generated imagery.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling final products for various platforms and audiences
- Collaborate with directors and CGI artists to realize creative visions
- Integrate CGI elements seamlessly into live-action footage
- Create and implement advanced visual effects using industry-standard software
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing and CGI techniques and technologies
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance overall video quality and impact
- Ensure consistency in style and branding across all video projects
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating CGI integration
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Good knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or Cinema 4D)
- Experience with compositing software such as Nuke or Fusion
- Strong understanding of cinematography, color grading, and sound design
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
